I help clients who suffer from persistent anxiety issues that disrupt their normal lifestyle. In anxiety counseling, my focus is on helping clients address the worrisome thoughts captured by the notion of “What if?”. I move clients from “What if?” toward “Then what” thinking by helping them develop psychological coping skills to handle those “What ifs” if they do materialize.
At the root of anxiety lies unhealthy beliefs, thoughts, actions, and behaviors: the underlying factors that cause us to feel anxious. Together we will identify and address the underlying factors. My goal is to help you understand your anxiety, based on your unique situation and circumstances, help you identify the underlying factors associated with your anxiety (the core issues and causes), and formulate a personalized treatment plan specific to your unique situation and circumstances.
